There was a time when reporters filed for a single platform, telling their stories on a single medium.  TV correspondents appeared on TV, print journalists wrote the articles in the newspaper and radio reporters voiced news reports.  It was a simpler time.

Suffice it to say, a day in the life of a journalist today is different.

Individuals now have their own brands and their own audiences. And those audiences aren’t just in a single place anymore.  Reporters can also now share their reporting directly with these  audiences as soon as they have it.

Today, Forth launches cross-posting: a one-click way of posting the latest reporting on multiple platforms.

After linking accounts, you  can automatically cross-post to your social media profiles, linking back to a Forth thread.  Through a dropdown menu on the post editor, you can select one or multiple platforms (Twitter, BlueSky & Mastodon to start) on which to post direction from Forth.

As always, please reach out if you have any questions, or to share feedback.  We’re on a lot of social platforms, too.

Forth is a news feed for trusted journalism.  Start following individual journalists or topics with a free account.  Journalists, join us, and feature your reporting on a platform built for news – and cross-post!
